Bouchercon 2026

Had a great time in Calgary at Bouchercon. Calgary is a great city, although we did see snow twice. It has a very prairie/western vibe.

Several of the workshops really stood out; the ones on forensics and poisons. Seriously. the time for those could have been extended. But the highlight for me, as it usually is, is meeting fellow authors and readers. And this time, I enjoyed a sit down with Kate Lyall Grant and Rachel Slatter (from Joffe house).

Guy Mace (m), Susanna Calkins, Ann Parker back row. Paddy Hirsh and me (front row). And man, do I need to cut my hair!
